About

TRANSYLVANIAN MOVIEPRENEURS was a groundbreaking project aimed at professionals in cultural and creative industries, designed to enhance their skills through various stages.

The first stage involved a study visit to Iceland, where project partners exchanged experiences and know-how with Icelandic film industry experts. Intense brainstorming sessions and job shadowing activities strengthened collaboration and understanding in cultural and cinematic entrepreneurship.

The second stage included cultural entrepreneurship courses, focusing on developing business plans, business strategies, and financial literacy tailored to professionals in creative industries. Concepts like design thinking, business model canvas, and networking were integrated to foster innovative and sustainable ideas.

In the final stage, a film bootcamp was organized specifically for young professionals in the film industry, guided by top trainers from the Romanian film industry. Participants collaborated to produce a short film, which was widely disseminated nationally, thereby promoting and solidifying the local cinematic sector.
